Our first ditch the doughnut event was a phenomenal success. All the doughnut ditchers I expected to come, showed up on time and ready for action. The map above shows the approximately 9.5 mile route (according to Strava). Strava also reported 2190ish feet of climbing. The air temps were perfect and the scenery on this loop rates a 10 out of 10 in my books. Simply spectacular.

If you plan to hike this route in the future, I'd suggest going on a weekday. The parking lot is tiny. This forced us to parked sort of legally, but there were no other options afterwards. Those that came after us, were out of luck.
