This is a great shot of the valley below and the impact of one of last year's fires. The fire swept down the mountain on the right and burned up the other side. The burn area narrows but continues left out of frame.
This was Andra's nemesis. Although the slant is significant here, it is even steeper on the other side. We have already crossed and Andra is looking back. The first part is much more vertical and slides off into a valley. Care must be taken to avoid any uncontrolled slide. The snow is crusted over and icy.
