Well, it could get windy and start snowing, for starters. Fortunately, we finished our showers before the high winds started and the clouds started pushing in. My weather forecast for today and tomorrow (last updated when we left on Saturday) showed full sun today and tomorrow. This might suggest this is just a small short-term fluke, but there is no way to know for sure.

Fortunately for us, since we had to prepare for rain the first two days, we have better than average gear to handle the changing situation. I'm wearing my Outdoor Research Ghost Rain hat rather than my normal Tilley, and I chose warmer waterproof boots rather than my cooler summer boots.

It doesn't appear to be letting up.
Dawg tries to stay warm as the temperatures drop and the snow lands on his head.
