When we exit the tent, it looks like a winter wonderland. The formerly green landscape is all white. It is time to find dry wood and build a fire for breakfast.

So let's recap, we had rain, hail, high winds, snow, and sun. I think we can easily say we had a four-season trip!
Considering that we have already decided not to cross the river today, the sand trap seems like a blessing rather than a curse. In addition, Andra's car is on a high mountain pass that closes at the drop of a hat. I'm already sure that if we hike out to Andra's car, we would be trapped on the wrong side of some locked gates on miles of unplowed roads.
