Every time the snow lets up a bit, we try to take a picture or two. Here we deploy the tripod for a group photo.
We begin our first climb up to Poison Flat. The snow depth varies depending on the area, but so far, it isn't too bad.
We've reached Poison Flat. Soon we will be branching off from this trail onto another trail we've never hiked. This is where good basic navigation skills are important. Experience cannot be replaced with books and theory.
