Again, without my tracks, would you be able to stay on the trail? I know several people that could, but most would have no chance.

The other problem with walking on this powder is your feet often sink to the ground. Each time my foot lands on an unfortunately smooth rock, I nearly fall as my foot slides out from under me. In fact, after dozens of such occurrences, I take the full plunge twice before reaching the car. Having cold snow shoot up your back is a bit chilling!
