We've reached beautiful Lake Harriet. It will take a another 150 yards before I realize we're on the wrong side of the lake. Once I do, I thought making Andra cross that stream twice in one day would be a bit much and Dorothy Pass would be a considerable amount of work once we got back around the lake. The campsite next to this lake was awesome, and it seemed easier to have another fireless evening and just hike over to Dorothy the following day. After some discussion, we dropped our packs on the far left hand bank and prepared to stay.
After camp was setup, we paused to take a "Callie" picture. This one is just for you kiddo!
The next morning the lake looked spectacular. That white area right near the water's edge is indeed a snow patch. At over 9200 feet, a few patches still remain in the shade.
