I couldn't help but stitch these five photos together. Again, apologies to those on small screens that may have to shrink or scroll this page, but this panoramic is amazing.
While I'm at it, here is another two photos stitched together.

This snow patch covered the entire trail. I made my way up on top and headed across as Andra took photos.

Again this type of obstacle looks innocuous in a photo, but it is really quite dangerous. You must tread carefully on high slippery ice patches. If you slide off and slam into
a rock, magnified by the weight of your pack, you can seriously injure yourself.
