Ralston Peak 2010 |

On July 24th a day hike to Ralston Peak was planned. Tony and his two sons James and TJ joined us for the assault on the summit. You'll find Ralston Peak near the bottom of the following map and to the right of Horsetail falls. The trailhead is located at approximately 6600 feet, across from Camp Sacramento. The trail distance, according to our GPS, was approximately five miles one-way. The summit of Ralston Peak is 9,235 ft elevation. The photos on this site are best viewed with a browser that supports color profiles (like Firefox current versions). Internet Explorer and other browsers that lack this support will distort the colors of the photos. Bring them up side-by-side to see what I mean. |
