We wanted to hike to some indian petroglyphs, but the questionable weather changed our mind. So we drove over to an area that had petroglyphs and a little "tax station," where you are taxed before walking over on the trail to see them.

I'm guessing most of these doodling's were done by children. The sheer number, haphazard arrangement, poor quality, and the fact that children in any society have the most free time to burn, makes it a good probability.
Yes, I got taxed to look at bad graffiti. I feel like I need a shower.
