We continued our descent from Gilmore when I spotted these two great redwoods. I couldn't resist pulling them in with the wide-angle lens.

Kids don't try this at home! This is a lesson in what happens when blind girlfriends take off their glasses to frame a timed picture. Andra was forced out of her contacts and into glasses for this trip because she was going to have laser eye surgery when we returned. She took off her specs to arrange the camera on a rock. I noted that there was a big weed in the way, but she said she didn't see one. It's somewhat hard to spot, but if you look really close, you may see what I mean.
