A look in the other direction at beautiful Middle Velma.
My Aunt Valia baked us some flat bread for our trip. I had complained that I needed tough bread you could squash, but still eat. In the past, I had purchased pita bread, which meets the two requirements, but tastes awful. Aunt Valia overheard me asking my mom to make some and volunteered for the job. Often food items are compressed in my pack, making sliced bread impractical. This delicious bread not only tasted great but also was sized to fit my bear canister! Here I rip a piece in half to share with Andra.
Andra and I sat here at Middle Velma and had lunch before continuing around the loop of lakes.
