Andra wanted to take the kids to see the fireworks in Lake Tahoe this year. We tried to get a place to stay but everything was booked. In the end, we drove up the morning of July 4th to avoid the traffic and spent the day sight seeing. In the evening, we parked at the Horizon Casino and walked to the beach for the show. After the traffic died down (about 12:30am) we drove back to Sacramento.

If you are unable to play the Tahoe Fireworks Video, you'll need to download the Divx play bundle from www.divx.com. If the player crashes or Windows Explorer Crashes when trying to select/play the video, you can try to resolve the issue by installing QuickFix1.1.exe (also from Divx). Video editting software and codecs are terribly unreliable. One day I hope this segment of the software industry will get its act together. It is probably best to download the file first and then play it from your hard disk rather than play it from the web site. The picture will likely be too jumpy if played over the internet.
