As the canyon narrows, we get closer and closer to Piute Creek. This last winter being one of the wettest since record keeping began, has kept the creeks running strong even this late in the year. We take a break and eat some lunch while reaching the water's edge is easy for Dawg. I take special care to make sure he can remain hydrated at all times.
