I really liked the zigzag pattern in the Earth's crust here, and asked Andra to snap a photo.
Few people I know have ever seen our national bird. These massive beasts are amazing. With nothing to compare him against, you don't get the full impact of just how big this guy really is. If you live in the People's Republic of Taxifornia, I can direct you to an area off HWY 20 where you might find some Bald Eagles and their nests. How in the world Andra snapped these photos while hand holding an 800mm zoom bobbling down a river is anyone's guess. I'd estimate just over 3 feet from head to tail. Enjoy!
