At this point the fog bank had pushed well off the coast, but it sat out there like a huge barrier. It looked like a wall from here. It reminded me of the barrier at the edge of the galaxy in "Star Trek V The Final Frontier"
Brian noticed a trail leading into the trees near our camp. We went in to investigate and found Camp Wheeler, or as Brian called it, "The voodoo hut." I figured they built the tree platforms to store supplies out of the reach of local animals.
Here you can see a primitive stool someone made from a tree branch and a few benches with backrests surrounding a fire ring.
