The whole mountain across from us was a bright orange. We are at over 9900 ft elevation. This is the first elevation where we've seen a few tiny patches of snow as you can see on the left. The snow pack in the Sierra's is virtually nonexistent and I'm just floored at what we're seeing this early in the season. I'd expect to see this kind landscape in August not May. |
