From her seated position she captures me about 15 feet away. The "trail" continues straight in front of me. It may look bad in this photo, but let me assure you, it's actually worse.
Safely down from the precarious sub-dome, I photograph the peak as a small cloud wisps across the diving board. The sub-dome "trail" is to the right of the large tree in the center. As was the case the day before, some dark clouds are beginning to move in from the South (left). It is important that we move rapidly down from here in case they begin to generate lightning. Our current location would be extremely dangerous during a thunderstorm.
All the way down the mountain we reach the floor of Little Yosemite Valley. The wide sandy trail can be seen on the right.
