We've finally reached the bridge below Vernal Falls. It too looks anemic. When we finally reached Andra's car at the Happy Isles backpacker's parking lot, we sadly discovered that vandals had broken her passenger side mirror off. They threw a piece of cinder block at it, deeply gouging her passenger side window and smashing the mirror and assembly right off. Simply disgusting.
After a hot shower (I washed three times just in case), we got a good night's sleep in Curry Village. Andra had picked up a cold the last couple of days and was glad to return to civilization where tissues and decongestant are readily available. The next day we drove to Glacier Point to look around. The wide angle lens takes in a tremendous amount of the terrain. North Dome and Basket Dome are on the left and you can see Clouds Rest just to the left of Half Dome's face. Nevada and Vernal Falls are to the right. Liberty Cap is just behind Vernal Falls (left of Nevada Falls).
Two days ago we stood on the top of Half Dome and looked across to Glacier Point. Now at Glacier Point we get to look back the other way.
