From Glacier Point we drive back and hike to the top of Sentinel Dome. You can see dry Yosemite Falls just to the left of my leg.
I was saddened to find the tree at the top of Sentinel Dome had collapsed. It was only a matter of time after it died, but a shame none-the-less. With idiot tourists pulling and hanging on it, it is a miracle it lived and stayed up as long as it did. See my trip in 1999 to see it still standing (already dead). My dad and Aunt both have pictures of it when it was still alive.
