With everything packed up, we decide we are going to hike out in a single day rather than try to find a dry camp. It is 9:28am, and the snow just isn't letting up. With ponchos deployed, we look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
It is well below freezing, but we are sweating like pigs hiking out with a heavy pack and a poncho.
We stop at the old historic building for a "call of nature" stop before continuing.
