As we begin our descent to the car, the clouds continue to clear. The first real break we've had in many hours.
Again, you may not have recognized the top photo on this page as the same as the one from earlier. Here they are side by side. We came in on that dirt road you see but pulled off along a side road before it dead-ends in this photo.
Looking back, Andra has crossed the steep slope that made her stomach churn on the way in. With so much powder on it now, it is just as steep but less intimidating.
