We finally made it up to Tuolumne Falls. It is only just dribbling this time of year, but pretty none-the-less.
I'm not sure if you can tell in this photograph, but the lower rock surface that looks like water is running down it, actually has ice crystals from the freezing mist forming on it. In the picture it looks like water running down the surface in white streaks, but trust me, that is ice.
As we approach HWY 120, we hike along the Tuolumne river. The day is just perfect for hiking.
